What a Day!
First there was WORK...(A long story...boring..)
Then I get home....I want to just veg in front of the Computer Screen....then Mrs Dood says her computer is not connected to the net. (We are in the same room) Hmmmm....I said mine is working fine....I pop over to hers and mess with a few things....it won't connect. Then I went back to mine...it stopped connecting too.....Grrrr! (Remember I just want to veg...no more work) So I power off the Hub, Router, and Cable modem. Let them sit for a few minutes. Reboot her computer...it works....dunno why...maybe errors built up on the modem and router. After all this shuffling around I forget to "ground" myself before touching my power button to reboot my computer....Zapppp! Blue Arc! Damn it! |

I hate when that happens.
I find touching a wall helps to dissipate the charge. Even better is if you are holding something made of metal, like a key. Use the key to touch the doorknob (or whatever) first and the charge doesn't shock you. |

Chinchilla
